WHEREVER YOU ROAM YOU ARE HOME.
A voyager values knowing where he/she is, where they are going, and how to get home. The stars have long been a way to know each of these. For voyagers seeking Hawai'i, either as a home or as a destination, there is a star of special significance. It's name is Hōkūleʻa: "our star of gladness". In Greek and Roman tradition, it is called Arcturus and is part of the constellation known as the plow driver. In Hawai'i this star, the brightest star in the northern celestial hemisphere, passes directly overhead. Away from Hawai'i, the Hōkūleʻa star is a beacon to those wishing to visit and those wishing to return home.
As a special edition tee, we have symbolically placed Hōkūleʻa, and its accompanying constellation, on the pocket of our 80//20 tee. We hope it will alway remind you of, or guide you back to, this special and sacred place; be it your destination or your home. We wish you happy voyaging, and the comfort of knowing where you are, where you are going, and where home is.
Specially designed for home-town temperatures in the 80°s. Latitude adjusted for the 20°s: think Honolulu, Havana, Miami, Mumbai.
As temperatures enter the 80°s most t-shirts lose their cool. And at 20°LAT it's reasonable to expect heat. That's why we created the 80°/20°, to keep you cool where you are and where you're going.
For the 80//20 we selected the finest, softest, 100% organic, lightweight, combed, ring-spun cotton. This provides maximum breathability and minimum insulation. Generously cut, this Tee allows for greater airflow throughout the garment. And we've made sure not to trap heat around the neck by using a specially tailored neckline.
Designed for 70°F. Latitude adjusted for the 30°s: Think cool Pacific water meeting sunny LA skies. Or the hot Calima wind meeting the cool Canary Islands. Be they daydreams or destinations, the 70°/30° has you comfortably and stylishly covered.
Temperatures in the 70°s, though comfortable, can be too cool in the shade or too warm in the sun. With the right t-shirt, though, it's the perfect temperature all the time.
For the 70°/30° we selected a special slub-knit, combed, ring spun cotton. Slub knitting creates a fabric with alternating thicknesses and densities. The denser moments in the fabric insulate and maintain a consistent temperature while the spaces between offer passage to excess heat and vapor. Along with a generous cut and special neckline, the 70°/30° keeps you comfortable as sun, breeze, and cloud contribute what they will to the variable temperature.
Specially designed for temperatures in the 60°s. Latitude adjusted for the 40°s. Think San Francisco, Biarritz, Madrid, Milan.
Want to extend t-shirt weather a few degrees? You can with the 60°/40°. It's warmer than most t-shirts, but it's also less likely to become uncomfortably warm. We strike this balance by using a special french terry knit, ring spun cotton fabric. The tiny loop-threads on the inside of the garment create air spaces for warmth, and pull vapor outward where it can evaporate away from your body. And a generous hem prevents drafts from pulling warmth away from the body.
For ideal layering and a lightweight feel, we used raglan construction and a special contoured sleeve.

A true to size, tailored fit will embrace your body, not suffocate or hang off it. Using 100% woven materials allows you to place a minimum of material between you and your outerwear.
The result: A more stylish look. More comfortable layering. No billowing excess material. No spongy, bulky knit material.
The Elastic used in conventional underwear applies constant, squeezing pressure. This causes it to creep, usually upward, into uncomfortable positions. For boxers this occurs at the waist. For briefs, this can occur both at the waist and at the legs.
Our NoLastic approach removes what you don’t need and don’t want: creeping and bunching.
